Options
By default Spare Parts blocks some combinations to keep things balanced. Each one can be toggled in the settings.
- Parts transfer
-
- Regular: the item you salvage parts from is scrapped
- Swap: the two items exchange parts, and you keep both
- Rarity lock
- You can only take parts from an item of equal or higher rarity
- Strict uniques
- Unique items can only take parts from other copies of the same unique
- Sanity check
-
- Safe: every combination passes the game's sanity check, but some relic and class mod parts can't be salvaged
- Expert: some relic and class mod combinations won't pass
- Insane: all safeguards are removed, and needs Sanity Saver, otherwise your guns will be deleted
